We designed and installed a new exterior staircase leading to the lake to replace the old wood staircase at this house in Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs. The all-aluminum staircase rests on bearing aluminum columns and pilings. The double stringers were assembled mechanically with stainless steel screws and bolts. The treads are galvanized aluminum, perforated to let water and snow pass through. This keeps precipitation from building up and is safer. For the aluminum railings, the customer chose a contemporary brown commercial model that goes perfectly with the façade and the environment.
