Interior railings and balustrades

Interior glass railings are one of our specialties at Rampes et Balcons. They’re multifunctional and can be installed along a staircase or mezzanine. They can even serve as a divider. Their strength and transparency maximize the amount of natural light in the room while keeping the occupants safe. We sell standard parts to design your own railing or balustrade, but we also design made-to-measure projects

Here are some of your options:

  • Interior 10-mm or 12-mm glass railings
  • Clear, tinted or frosted glass
  • Glass railings set in natural or black stainless steel spigots or a base inserted in the floor
  • Black steel frame
  • Add a natural or black stainless steel handrail
  • Add natural or black stainless steel stand-offs

Interior wood staircases

A staircase plays an essential function in your home, so it must be built very carefully. A wise choice of type of wood, design and finish will make it a central element of your interior décor whether it is straight, has landings or rises in a spiral. Wood staircases are durable, easy to maintain and multifunctional, and they adapt to any interior layout. We can trim it with a wood, glass or wrought iron staircase railing and a handrail as you wish.

Choosing the right staircase and the right railing

Sometimes it’s hard to choose the right combination for your staircase, railing and balustrade among all the design and material options available. Here are a few questions to get you thinking:

  • What is your budget?
  • Is there a mezzanine to secure on an upper floor?
  • What type of wood would best fit your décor?
  • Do you prefer a classic flair or a contemporary one?
  • Would you like a floating staircase? (See our Central steel stringer page.)
  • Do you need a glass balustrade to secure the staircase?

Don’t hesitate to contact us for help and advice!
