To add a modern touch to this lovely log home in Val-des-Lacs, we installed a new natural cedar deck. To properly support the floor, we installed new piles screwed into the ground, as well as a 6 x 6 treated wood columns.
The deck is secured by a clear 12-mm tempered glass railing, attached with brushed stainless-steel spigots. The lack of framing maximizes the view over the lake and the woods.
